Elfic brings expertise, enthusiasm and a trunk full of circus equipment to fairs, festivals, schools, company team building events, parties, youth clubs, scouting organisations and other occasions.
Skills taught include:
But not all at the same time!
Circus workshops are enjoyed by children of all ages and adults alike, and can be adapted according to age and skills levels.
Ideal for improving coordination, dexterity and balance, developing concentration, perseverance and confidence...and not forgetting a heap of fun as well.
Work very well after one of Elfic's comedy juggling shows, as audience members are often inspired to have a go themselves at some of the skills they've just witnessed.
Elfic ran the Totnes Juggling & Circus Workshop once a week for over 20 years. Over time he has taught the joy of juggling to thousands of people.
Workshops can last an hour, a morning a day or a week. Longer workshops can lead to the creation of your very own circus performances…
Circus workshops are run throughout the morning to teach the skills. In the afternoon, the students are helped to put these skills into action, creating their own routines to perform at the end of the day, to other students or parents.
Elfic (Rupert Elford) is one of a team of circus tutors running workshops around the Southwest as Circus Into Schools. Projects vary in size, from one hour to one week, from one tutor to several and can be combined with performances too. Visit website here.
